In this recipe, chicken liver and gizzards are used to cook in alkali made from burning the dried banana cover, especially from the Musa species. No turmeric and garlic are used here as the rest of the chicken recipes.           Northeast India, especially Assam is very rich in its cultural diversity. Though the Assamese language is spoken by most of the people still all the tribal communities have their own dialect. One such major communities of Assam is the Bodo community. They are the largest ethnolinguistic group of Assam . Bodo language is considered as one of the twenty-two scheduled languages of India  (Source) .
